With the 2026 governorship election in Ekiti State on the horizon, the state government is urging all political stakeholders to uphold peace and integrity. 

In a statement, the State Commissioner for Information, Taiwo Olatunbosun, emphasized the need for responsible conduct to avoid violence and maintain public order as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) prepares for the June 20 election and upcoming party primaries set for late 2025.
