Polaris Bank convened corporate clients in the non-oil sector at its Global Trade Forum themed “Trade Export: Partnering for Growth,” focusing on trade challenges and innovative solutions.

The Lagos event brought together business leaders, exporters, regulators, and Customs officials to discuss enhancing Nigeria’s trade ecosystem.

Speaking at the event, Polaris Bank Managing Director/CEO, Kayode Lawal, emphasized the bank’s role as a strategic partner empowering exporters with tailored digital solutions to boost global competitiveness.

According to him, the purpose of the gathering was to address the real issues customers encounter in trade and export while identifying opportunities where Polaris Bank can provide practical, innovative solutions to support growth.

Nigerian Customs represented by Assistant Comptroller, Aondona Fanyama, showcased the Nigeria Trade Portal, promising faster, more transparent cross-border trade processes. 

The forum fostered direct engagement among financial experts, policymakers, and industry leaders to drive export readiness, compliance, and sustainable business growth.
