The burial prayers for the departed souls of Sina Ghami and Latif Ayodele were held on Sunday morning in London.

This was confirmed in programmes shared with newsmen on Sunday. The Janaza Prayer Service took place at the London Central Mosque, 146 Park Road, London NW8 7RG.

Ghami and Ayodele, who were close friends and members of Anthony Joshua’s team, died following a car crash in Nigeria that also left the British heavyweight boxer injured. The accident occurred when the vehicle they were travelling in, alongside Joshua and another passenger, collided with a stationary truck on a major road near Lagos.

Joshua, who was hospitalised after the crash, returned to the UK on Friday night. He attended the Janaza Prayer Service with his mother and other family members to pay their final respects.
