President Bola Tinubu has expressed condolences to the Ogun State Government and the Onabanjo family over the death of Chief Lucia Onabanjo, widow of Ogun State’s first civilian governor, Chief Olabisi Onabanjo.

She passed away on Monday at the age of 101.

In a statement by his Special Adviser, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu described Onabanjo as a woman of compassion and service, whose legacy was evident in her charitable work and support for children and women’s empowerment.

He also acknowledged her role during her husband’s tenure as governor from 1979 to 1983.
