Vice President Kashim Shettima has called on Nigerians to prioritize tolerance and peaceful coexistence, stressing that the country’s unity and shared heritage outweigh factors that divide its people.
Shettima made the appeal during a visit to His Royal Highness Jacob Gyang Buba, Gbong Gwom Jos and Chairman of the Plateau State Council of Chiefs and Emirs, in Plateau State.
He noted that traditional rulers play a vital role in promoting peace and stability within their communities.
The Vice President, present for the grand reception of Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang and other political leaders into the APC, said the political realignment would enhance development, stability, and the dividends of democracy in the state.
