The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has warned that some Nigerians who have paid for this year’s Hajj may miss out due to incomplete data capture.

NAHCON, in a statement through its Deputy Director, Information and Public Relations, Fatima Sanda Usara, said the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through its Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, has officially closed the data-capturing window for the 2026 Hajj season.

Usara, said the commission, however appealed for an extension to register remaining pilgrims on the Nusuk Masar platform and urged the public to follow only official channels for updates, warning against paying fares to individuals or groups as payment for the 2026 Hajj has been officially closed.
