The Police Service Commission has promoted 13 Commissioners of Police to Assistant Inspectors-General following their performance in written and oral examinations at the commission’s headquarters in Abuja.

Head of Protocol and Public Affairs Torty Njoku Kalu said the list has been forwarded to the Inspector-General of Police for implementation.

Among those promoted are Emmanuel Ado Christopher, Joseph Eribo, Dantawaye Miller, and Uche Ifeanyi Henry.

In addition, 19 Assistant Commissioners were elevated to Deputy Commissioners, while 35 Chief Superintendents were promoted to Assistant Commissioners.
