Speaking during an interfaith Iftar with media executives at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, the president acknowledged the complaints about tariffs impacting the media sector and assured stakeholders that the issue would be looked into.
He said he had listened carefully to the concerns raised during discussions earlier in the day.
The president also commended media organisations for their role in national development, noting that the industry provides employment and helps inform and educate the public.
He emphasised that the media remains vital to strengthening public awareness and shaping informed citizens.
