The Council of Legal Education has released a list of 114 universities approved to run law programmes in the country.
In a circular signed by its Secretary and Director of Administration, Aderonke Osho, the council said only the listed institutions are authorised to admit students for the Bachelor of Laws degree.
Osho warned that universities running unapproved law programmes will face sanctions, adding that students from such institutions will not be eligible for admission into the Nigerian Law School.
The council said the list will be updated periodically in line with its mandate to regulate legal education in Nigeria.
