The Lagos State Government has clarified that the reintroduced monthly environmental sanitation exercise will hold every last Saturday of the month from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu made the announcement during the symbolic flag-off of the exercise in Mushin.

He explained that, unlike in the past, the exercise will not involve restriction of movement, following a previous court ruling.

Sanwo-Olu urged residents to embrace environmental responsibility, noting that maintaining a clean city requires the cooperation of both government and citizens.
