The Lagos State Government says it is positioning tourism as a key driver of economic growth while targeting multi-billion-naira investments and expanded opportunities for small businesses.
Special Adviser on Tourism, Arts and Culture, Idris Aregbe, said the state has developed a framework to attract investors and promote Lagos’ cultural economy as a major source of jobs and revenue.
He added that recent tourism initiatives, including trade fairs and event-driven programmes, are already generating significant commercial activity and strengthening the state’s tourism sector.
