The Lagos State House of Assembly has adopted the recommendations of its Finance Committee on the Lagos State Wealth Fund Bill, 2025.

The bill seeks to establish a fund to manage and invest state resources for long-term development and future generations, and lawmakers endorsed the committee’s report after deliberations in plenary.

Speaker Mudashiru Obasa also urged lawmakers to support party unity ahead of the next elections following the adoption of the report.
