The Ogun State Environmental Protection Agency has sealed Bonny Pie Industry in Ewekoro Local Council over alleged discharge of wastewater into a river used by residents of Akinbo community.

The action followed a petition from the Olu of Akinbo, who accused the company of polluting a water source and posing health risks to residents.

OGEPA said the facility will remain closed pending investigation, while reaffirming its commitment to environmental protection and enforcement of regulations.
