The Oyo State Government says it has activated preparedness measures to prevent, detect and respond to any potential outbreak of Ebola Virus Disease in the state.
Health Commissioner Oluwaserimi Ajetunmobi said surveillance systems have been strengthened across all 33 local government areas, while response teams and health facilities have been placed on alert.
She urged residents and health workers to remain vigilant and report suspected cases promptly, adding that there is currently no confirmed Ebola case in the state or in Nigeria.
