Chinese President Xi Jinping is visiting North Korea for the first time in nearly seven years for talks with leader Kim Jong Un.
Xi will be in Pyongyang from June 8 to 9, with discussions expected to focus on longstanding political and economic ties between both countries.
China remains North Korea’s key ally despite growing sanctions on Pyongyang and its deepening relations with Russia.
