The Nigeria Boxing Federation has expressed confidence that a new generation of fighters can deliver medals for the country at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
NBF Vice President Omonlei Imadu highlighted the emergence of four Nigerian women in the WBC top 10 rankings, including Elizabeth Oshoba, as evidence of the federation’s successful athlete development programme.
Imadu said the blend of experienced boxers and emerging talents gives Nigeria a strong chance of success as preparations intensify for the Commonwealth Games.
