The Federal Road Safety Corps says road crashes dropped significantly during the 2026 Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.

According to the agency, improved traffic management, public awareness campaigns and increased patrol operations contributed to the reduction.

Officials also reported a decline in the number of crash victims recorded during the festive period compared to previous years.

The FRSC described the development as encouraging and urged motorists to continue observing traffic regulations to sustain the progress.
