President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, on his victory in Saturday’s governorship election, describing it as a strong vote of confidence in his leadership.

He also praised the people of the state for their peaceful conduct during the poll.

In a statement, Tinubu commended security agencies and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for ensuring a credible process, while urging further improvements ahead of future elections. Oyebanji of the APC won with 319,224 votes.

The President called on the governor to remain inclusive in governance and consolidate achievements in infrastructure, education, agriculture and healthcare, while pledging continued federal support for Ekiti State.
