Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Jimoh Ibrahim, says President Bola Tinubu will confer national honours on Nigerians serving across various United Nations agencies.
Speaking at a UN Staff Recreation Council event in New York, Ibrahim said the move is aimed at recognizing Nigerians who have distinguished themselves in international service and contributed to global development.
He also praised Nigerian professionals at the UN for their achievements, adding that their expertise should be further harnessed for national development as Nigeria strengthens its role in global diplomacy.
