The Lagos State Task Force has impounded 278 commercial motorcycles during a weeklong enforcement exercise targeting illegal Okada operations across the state.

The operation covered several areas including Ikorodu, Festac, Iyana Ipaja, Ojodu and Igando.

Task Force Chairman, CSP Adetayo Akerele, said enforcement will continue until full compliance is achieved, adding that the motorcycles may be forfeited through the courts.
