The Edo State Independent Electoral Commission will today present certificates of return to candidates elected in Saturday’s local government election.

The All Progressives Congress won all 18 chairmanship seats and the 192 councillorship positions across the state.

Chairman of the commission, Jonathan Aifuobhokhan, said minor hitches recorded during the exercise did not affect the outcome, urging aggrieved parties to seek redress through the courts while commending voters for their peaceful participation.
