The House of Representatives Ad-hoc Committee investigating the controversial Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council has summoned the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, over his office’s response to reports about the organisation’s activities.

The committee also insisted that the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, personally appear before it to explain issues arising from the ministry’s submissions on the council.

Lawmakers are investigating how the alleged agency, which the Presidency said was never established by the Federal Government, reportedly operated within public institutions and secured funding in the 2026 Appropriation Act.
