President Bola Tinubu has commissioned the Barefoot Renewable Energy College in Osara, Kogi State, describing it as Africa’s first institution dedicated to renewable energy capacity development. Represented by Vice-President Kashim Shettima, he also unveiled the Green Hydrogen Research and Demonstration Pilot Plant, saying both projects will help create jobs, bridge Africa’s renewable energy skills gap and drive economic growth
