The Nigeria Immigration Service has dismantled an alleged transnational organised crime syndicate linked to the QNET/IGNITE network in Lagos, arresting 12 suspects and rescuing two victims during a coordinated operation.

The suspects include a Burkinabe national believed to be the syndicate leader, alongside eight Liberians and three Cameroonians.

The rescued victims and all suspects have been transferred to the Service Headquarters for further investigation and possible prosecution.

The Immigration Service said the network is linked to fraudulent employment and business schemes used to promote irregular migration.
