Petroleum products marketers say more filling stations across Nigeria may reduce petrol pump prices as operators respond to falling fuel landing costs and increasing market competition.

The National President of the Petroleum Products Retail Outlets Owners Association of Nigeria, Billy Gillis-Harry, said retailers are expected to adjust prices to attract customers following recent reductions by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, MRS and other marketers.

Dangote Refinery currently sells petrol at ₦1,215 per litre at the gantry, while pump prices range between ₦1,265 and ₦1,310 per litre in Abuja and surrounding areas.
