Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has filed a fresh 10 billion naira suit against the ICPC over alleged restrictions on his family’s access to him while in custody.

El-Rufai alleges that his wife and son were prevented from visiting him and providing food, medication and other necessities, describing the action as a violation of his fundamental rights.

He is asking the Federal High Court in Abuja to order the ICPC to allow him reasonable access to his family and lawyers throughout his detention.
