Cameroon have won the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations for the first time after thrashing debutants Malawi three-nil in Sunday’s final in Rabat, Morocco.
Marie Ngah Manga opened the scoring before Naomi Eto doubled the lead, with Ngah Manga completing her brace before half-time.
The victory ended Cameroon’s long wait for the title, after three previous final defeats, including a one-nil loss to Nigeria in the 2016 final.
