The Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate in the 2026 Ekiti election, Dr Wole Oluyede, has met with Governor Biodun Oyebanji and pledged to work with him for the development of the state and President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.

Oluyede said the meeting in Lagos focused on unity, cooperation and putting Ekiti’s interests above political differences.

He said he would lead grassroots mobilization across the state with his team and the Oluyede Progressive Alliance for Renewed Hope Agenda, targeting 90 per cent of Ekiti votes for President Tinubu.

Governor Oyebanji thanked Oluyede for what he described as his statesmanship and commitment to Ekiti’s progress and national development.
