The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, has apologized to aggrieved party members over perceived wrongs during the APC’s internal primaries.
Yilwatda, who stated this in Ibadan, Oyo State, said the National Working Committee takes responsibility for any mistakes committed by committees it constituted to conduct the primaries.
He also appealed to members who felt hurt, excluded or unfairly treated to forgive the party and remain united ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The APC chairman said Oyo State remains strategically important to the party because of its large voting population, while some aggrieved governorship aspirants had earlier alleged that the party’s candidate was imposed on them.
