The US Open will offer a record 108 million dollars in prize money this year, a 20 per cent increase from 2025.
The men’s and women’s singles champions will each receive 5.5 million dollars, while first-round losers will earn 140 thousand dollars.
The prize pool also includes two million dollars for a player welfare fund.
The four Grand Slam tournaments have meanwhile agreed to establish a Grand Slam Player Council, following demands from leading players for greater representation and a larger share of tournament revenues.
