The Federal Government says about 25 billion naira raised from gifts received by First Lady Oluremi Tinubu during her birthday has been combined with TETFund funds to revive the abandoned National Library headquarters project in Abuja.

Education Minister, Tunji Alausa, disclosed this after the Federal Executive Council approved an increase in the contract for completing and furnishing the project, which was abandoned in 2008.

Alausa said President Bola Tinubu directed the ministry to source funds for the project, adding that the combined resources would provide fresh momentum for completing the National Library headquarters.
