The Federal Government says Nigeria will not negotiate with terrorists, insisting that the only language they understand is defeat.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bianca Ojukwu, who stated this in Luanda, Angola, on the sidelines of the 21st Extraordinary Session of the African Union Assembly, said the summit focused on terrorism, violent extremism and conflict prevention.

Ojukwu said Nigeria, represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima, would use the summit to reaffirm its firm anti-terrorism position, while supporting efforts to strengthen the African Peace Fund and promote peace across the continent.
