The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Lagos State says it will mount a vigorous and strategic campaign ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Director-General of the party’s governorship campaign council, Hakeem Olalemi, said the PDP is mobilising across the state to support its governorship candidate, Adedeji Doherty, and win more legislative seats.

Olalemi urged party members to remain committed, saying the PDP is building a strong structure across the 20 local government areas.

He also said the party remains open to political coalitions, subject to decisions by its national leadership.
