The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, has won all 21 chairmanship positions and 362 councillorship seats in the Anambra State local government elections.

Chairman of the Anambra State Independent Electoral Commission, Genevieve Osakwe, declared all APGA candidates winners, describing the election as peaceful, free, fair and credible.

She said the exercise was conducted across the state’s 21 local government areas and 362 wards, while appreciating voters, security agencies and the media for their support.
