The Department of State Services, DSS, has directed its legal team to seek the suspension of the alleged cyberbullying case against African Action Congress presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, until after the 2027 election.

The move followed a meeting between DSS Director-General, Tosin Ajayi, and the agency’s legal officials, with the aim of allowing Sowore to participate fully in the presidential campaign.

The DSS is expected to approach the Federal High Court from September 14, when the court resumes after its annual vacation, to formally request the suspension of the case.
