The Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, TRACE, has commenced moves to evacuate an abandoned piling rig and an accidented truck from the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

TRACE said the vehicles, around the Gideon Bus Stop and Kara-Ibafo areas, posed safety risks to motorists. Operatives have been deployed to monitor the affected section pending their removal.

The agency said the Ibafo Police Division and manager of the piling rig had pledged to expedite the evacuation.

TRACE urged road users to remain cautious while the operation continues.
