Oyo State Governor and Allied Peoples Movement presidential candidate, Seyi Makinde, has unveiled his “Reset Nigeria Agenda”, outlining proposed reforms in the economy, education, security and governance ahead of the 2027 election.
Speaking in Katsina, Makinde pledged to boost economic productivity, tackle out-of-school children, devolve more powers to states and address insecurity by tackling its root causes.
Makinde promised to uphold constitutional provisions on presidential powers, including formally transmitting authority to the Vice President when unavailable.
He also urged Nigerians to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards, while his running mate, Lawal Daura, identified insecurity as a major challenge in the North-West.
