The Osun State chapter of the APC has accused Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration of victimizing local government workers over alleged political affiliations.

The claim was made in a statement by the party’s Director of Media and Information, Kola Olabisi.

The APC alleged that the Local Government Service Commission set up a committee to investigate workers suspected of supporting the opposition in the August 15 governorship election and also claimed that some workers had their phones and bank transactions examined during the probe.

The party described the alleged action as unconstitutional and called on Governor Adeleke to disband the committee and restore any affected salary accounts.

The state government had not responded to the allegations at the time of the report.
