In Ogun, the Police Command has commenced documentation and verification of all Supernumerary Police, SPY, personnel operating in the state.

The exercise will run from today to October 7, 2026.

The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, said the exercise is aimed at strengthening documentation, verification and oversight of SPY personnel.

All organizations employing SPY officers are directed to present them at the Police Headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta.

Personnel are expected to come with training certificates, warrant cards or relevant identification documents, passport photographs and other required papers.

The Command said the exercise will enhance monitoring and accountability of SPY operations across the state.
