EKITI DISSOLVES OKADA RIDERS’ EXECUTIVE COUNCIL

The Ekiti State Government has dissolved the executive council of the Okada Riders Association across the state and appointed a 10-member caretaker committee to oversee its affairs.

The decision, which takes immediate effect, followed a recommendation by the association’s Board of Trustees.

The committee will be chaired by Kunle Asaolu, with Adelegan Olowuro Sunday as Deputy Chairman and Alade Gbenga as Secretary.

Other members include Saka Salami, Ajibade Ojo, Ademola Omotuyi, Ayodeji Jegede, Lukman Saka, Joseph Emmanuel, Oloruntola Idowu and Agboola Emmanuel.

The committee is scheduled for inauguration today at the Ministry of Transportation in Ado-Ekiti.
