The Nigerian Army has graduated 87 newly trained soldiers for deployment to various theatres of Operation FANSAN YAMMA to strengthen ongoing security operations.

The soldiers of the 90 Regular Intake completed an eight-week Exercise Shining Star X/26 at the 1 Division Training School, Kaduna.

The training covered field operations, live-fire drills, navigation, watermanship, tactical motorcycle operations and IED awareness.

The Army said the exercise was designed to enhance operational readiness, resilience, teamwork and professionalism, while preparing the troops for security challenges within the division’s area of responsibility.
