President Bola Tinubu says his administration is strengthening Nigeria’s military response through new Army formations, improved personnel welfare and expanded infrastructure.

Tinubu said new formations have been operationalized in Zamfara, Kebbi, Oyo and Osun states, bringing troops closer to vulnerable communities.

He also said new barracks and depots are being fast-tracked in Abuja, Ekiti, Ebonyi and Kogi, while the Osun facility has been completed.

The President also highlighted the recent pay increase for military personnel, saying it is improving conditions for troops and their families.

Tinubu stressed that supporting military families remains part of his responsibility as Commander-in-Chief.
