Officials from Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan will meet in Riyadh for talks under the Mecca defence pact, amid growing tensions in the region today.
The meeting will discuss recent regional developments and plans to strengthen the alliance.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Defence Minister Yasar Guler and military chief Selcuk Bayraktaroglu are expected to attend.
The talks come as Yemen’s Saudi-backed government launches a major military operation against Iran-backed Houthi forces.
