Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury will have no contractual rematch clause when the British heavyweights meet on December 11 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

Fury’s manager Spencer Brown and Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn confirmed the bout is structured as a one-off fight, although a second meeting could still be arranged if both camps agree.

With both fighters approaching the latter stages of their careers, Brown says defeat could raise questions over their futures, while the winner would be expected to continue fighting.
