Nigeria responded with Edokpolor’s 78th-minute strike and substitute Akor Adams completed the comeback in the 94th minute, denying Russia victory.
The Super Eagles will next face Tanzania in November’s 2027 AFCON qualifiers, with the first leg scheduled for Uyo on November 11.
