Chelsea boss, Enzo Maresca has praised Paris Saint-Germain as ''the best team in the world'' after guiding the Blues to a dominant 3-0 victory over the French giants in the club world cup held Sunday night at the MetLife Stadium in the United States.
The win, sealed by a brace from Cole Palmer and a goal from Joao Pero , handed Chelsea their first Club World Cup title under Maresca's Reign.
Speaking after the game, Maresca commended his team's performance and expressed pride in defeating Luis Enrique’s side.
Maresca said, “Fantastic. Club World Cup champions, we are very proud,”“PSG are the best team in the world. It was a top performance.”
Chelsea will now face Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan in their next two pre-season games in August before their first Premier League opener of the new season against Crystal Palace.
