Defending champions Nigeria will face Zambia, Egypt and debutants Malawi in Group C of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, set to be held in Morocco.
The draw was conducted yesterday in Rabat, with Nigeria seeded in position C1 as title holders.
The clash with Zambia renews a growing rivalry, following Nigeria’s 5–0 win over the Copper Queens en route to lifting their 10th WAFCON title last year.
Egypt returned to the tournament after CAF expanded the competition to 16 teams, while Malawi will be making their debut.
Hosts Morocco headline Group A alongside Algeria, Senegal and Kenya.
Group B features South Africa, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso and Tanzania, while Group D includes Ghana, Cameroon, Mali and Cape Verde.
The tournament will run from March 17 to April 3, 2026, with matches played in Rabat, Casablanca and Fez.
