Former Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, General Secretary, Fanny Amun, says he resigned as chairman of the federation’s fact-finding committee after submitting its report to protect the integrity and independence of its findings.

Amun, who stated this in Lagos, said he completed the assignment ahead of the two-week deadline to prevent anyone from influencing the report.

He also called for reforms to the NFF electoral statutes, including subjecting all contestants to ethics and financial screening and limiting elected football administrators to two terms.
